We had the pleasure of lending our jewelry to Jeff Garner, fashion designer and creator of the clothing line Prophetik, for his fashion show at the Franklin Theater, A Vintage Affair: A Dress to Change the World. It was a glamourous evening event full of beautifully created designs, and of course, jewelry! The models wore many different pearl necklaces from Walton's, including one of our favorite strands adorned with a classy diamond clasp. The finale look of Garner's creation, a long flowing sage green gown, was paired with our diamond, pearl and peridot necklace, the perfect combination! It truly was a night to remember!
A big thank you to Jeff Garner for the opportunity to pair our jewelry with his stunning creations!
March 1st marks the debut of Walton's jewelry being featured in it's first major motion picture, Stoker, a psycological thriller directed by Park Chan-wook, starring Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode. After India's (Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
Throughout the movie, Nicole Kidman sports quite a few stunning pieces, including our 1920's circular diamond and emerald cocktail ring as well as a gorgeous diamond and emerald bangle bracelet. Jacki Weaver, who plays Aunt Gin, wears our jaw dropping pair of diamond dangle earrings and a beautiful circular diamond broach.
Stoker promises to be a suspensful thriller, with many unexpected twists and turns, not to mention some fabulous jewelry! One things for sure, the Walton's crew will grabing the popcorn and buying movie tickets!

New year, new Nashville! ABC’s hit musical drama returns tonight with an all-new episode aptly titled, “Be Careful of Stones That You Throw.” The biggest stone being tossed around? Juliette’s (Hayden Panettiere) platinum and diamond engagement ring from her pro-football playing beau, Sean (Tilky Jones). The country star happily shows off her giant sparkler on tonight’s episode and we have all the details:
• Nashville costume designer Susie DeSanto told InStyle.com that the ring is an Art Deco ring, circa 1925.
• The ring is actually on loan from Walton’s Antique Jewelry in Franklin, TN.
• The European cut center stone weighs 2.68 carats and is surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds.
Who wouldn’t say yes to bling like that? It’s not all bliss though (naturally!) as Rayna (Connie Britton) and Teddy’s marriage continues to falter and few people are happy to celebrate Juliette and Sean’s new union. Tune in toNashville tonight at 10 p.m. EST on ABC to see what shakes down— there’s a major surprise is in store!
