Walton's Antique and Estate Jewelry

Family owned and operated in Historic Downtown Franklin, TN since 1974

(615) 790-0244

Our store began over forty years ago by Melba Walton, an entrepreneur who had a sincere passion for antique jewelry.  Today, Walton's Antique and Estate Jewelry has become a staple to the downtown Franklin community. Specializing in pre-1940's antique and estate pieces, Walton's maintains the foundation on which Melba created the store;  a place where all are welcome to share in the love and admiration for pieces of one of a kind jewelry.

We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Come on in and discover, or rekindle, your passion for antique jewelry!

NPT Appraisal Day

Mike and Julie are at The Factory in Franklin today for the annual NPT Appraisal Day! (Think Antique Road Show style fundraising event for the network!)  The funds raised help support NPT (Nashville Public Television) to continue airing shows like Downton Abbey (a personal favorite!)!

We see many jewelry treasures throughout the event, but our favorite thus far? This fabulous Tiffany & Co. Old Mine cut and Old European cut diamond ladies platinum watch, circa 1910! We have estimated the value to be in the ballpark of $20,000! A gorgeous find, indeed!

NPT Appraisal Day

Walton's spent the day at The Factory in Franklin appraising an array of jewels for NPT's annual Appraisal Day! The public was able to bring in items to show to specialists, from art to antique furniture, and, of course, jewelry.  Check out some of our favorite, most unique finds below!

Victorian era gold, diamond and opal broach.  The bracelet portion can be locked into the sides of the broach to create a beautiful bracelet.

Victorian enameled miniature porcelain and gold earrings, cufflinks and pin suite.  Quite beautiful and unique, we have never seen anything like it!

Gorgeous, dainty Edwardian era platinum topped gold and diamond bracelet.

Late Victorian era Mason pin with a carved moonstone in the center.  Above is the official document, to the left are the signatures of the officers.

Victorian Era Old Mine cut diamond and gold starburst broach.

Late Victorian Era plique a jour and cloisonne peacock pin.

NPT Appraisal Fair 2014

The Walton Duo, Mike and Julie, set up shop at the NPT Appraisal Fair this past weekend.  Attendees were given the opportunity to bring up to five items to have verbally appraised by experts in a variety of fields.  With over 250 people registered and over 939 items to be appraised, it was a busy day with many interesting items to see! Check out the images below to see a few of our favorites!

Victorian Era gold broach featuring rose cut diamonds set in black onyx with enameling details.

An emerald cut Harry Winston diamond ring.

Victorian Era gold locket featuring pictures of great grand parents.

NPT's Pledge Night

On Monday evening, our very own Mike Walton went live on NPT during the Antique Roadshow to promote their annual Appraisal Day!  Viewers were able to call in to purchase tickets for Appraisal Day, which will happen on June 14th at The Factory of Franklin.  Those who attend will bring items for specialists to appraise.  Last night, Mike held a mock appraisal on air to demonstrate how he will be appraising jewelry on Appraisal Day!
