Longtime friend and customer, Sheryl Crow, had a photo shoot last fall on her farm here in Middle Tennessee with an exciting twist: Walton's Jewelry! At this exclusive photo shoot done just for Walton's, Sheryl did a phenomenal job modeling a selection of ours, and her, favorite Art Deco jewels! In the third image, Sheryl is wearing one of her own Walton's pieces, a Victorian hand crafted heavy gold chain and locket. Last September, she released her 8th studio album, Feels like Home, and just recently announced that she will be joining Rascal Flatts on their 2014 tour, Rewind. We can't thank Sheryl and her team enough for sharing this experience with us, and wish her all the best in what promises to be a successful year!

What pairs well with Art-Deco jewelry, you ask? 1930s and '40s automobiles! June 14th through September 15th, the Frist Center in Nashville is hosting an exhibit entitled, "Sensuous Steel", that features twenty different automobiles that "exemplify the classic elegance, luxurious materials, and iconography of motion that characterizes vehicles influenced by the Art-Deco style."
Walton's could not pass up the opportunity to be part of such a breathtaking exhibit! We have chosen to sponsor the 1930 Henderson KJ Streamline, a rare example of 1930s motorcycle design.
"This aerodynamic two-wheeler was designed by Mr. O Ray Courtney in 1936 as a 'motorcycle of tomorrow'. Based on a 1930 JF Henderson, he wanted to supply copies for his clients, but he didn't have much luck in Depression-hit 1936. Running on an inline four cylinder, it was rebuilt by Mr. Frank Westfall from Syracuse, New York, who is the current owner. Elegant curves and sweeping lines make it a true Art-Deco piece."
Be sure to check out this incredible exhibit at the Frist and look for the Walton's license plate and plaque on the Henderson KJ Streamline!
We recently had the pleasure of attending the Vegas Jewelry Show where we were dazzled by thousands of one of a kind antique pieces. From Edwardian bracelets to Victorian tiaras, it was no easy feat to choose just a few to purchase. However, we are thrilled with the selection that we chose! Check out the images below to see six of our new antique favorites!
March is right around the corner and Walton's has already begun to pick out our lucky green favorites! Featured is a platinum Art Deco emerald and diamond cocktail ring. The center diamond measures 1.40 carats and is surrounded by stunning emeralds and even more diamonds.
