Walton's Antique and Estate Jewelry

Family owned and operated in Historic Downtown Franklin, TN since 1974

Our store began over forty years ago by Melba Walton, an entrepreneur who had a sincere passion for antique jewelry.  Today, Walton's Antique and Estate Jewelry has become a staple to the downtown Franklin community. Specializing in pre-1940's antique and estate pieces, Walton's maintains the foundation on which Melba created the store;  a place where all are welcome to share in the love and admiration for pieces of one of a kind jewelry.

"Sensuous Steel: Art Deco Automobiles" at the Frist

What pairs well with Art-Deco jewelry, you ask? 1930s and '40s automobiles! June 14th through September 15th, the Frist Center in Nashville is hosting an exhibit entitled, "Sensuous Steel",  that features twenty different automobiles that "exemplify the classic elegance, luxurious materials, and iconography of motion that characterizes vehicles influenced by the Art-Deco style."

Walton's could not pass up the opportunity to be part of such a breathtaking exhibit! We have chosen to sponsor the 1930 Henderson KJ Streamline, a rare example of 1930s motorcycle design.

"This aerodynamic two-wheeler was designed by Mr. O Ray Courtney in 1936 as a 'motorcycle of tomorrow'.  Based on a 1930 JF Henderson, he wanted to supply copies for his clients, but he didn't have much luck in Depression-hit 1936.  Running on an inline four cylinder, it was rebuilt by Mr. Frank Westfall from Syracuse, New York, who is the current owner. Elegant curves and sweeping lines make it a true Art-Deco piece."

Be sure to check out this incredible exhibit at the Frist and look for the Walton's  license plate and plaque on the Henderson KJ Streamline!
