Holy Moly, were we blown away when we picked up February's edition of Southern Living Magazine! The always fabulous, Nashville food and entertaining tastemaker, Katie Jacobs, is featured in the Beauty and Style section and gives advice on how to look and feel your best! Katie's response to the question, "the one thing I can't live without", had us all crying happy tears! She says, "When we were dating, my husband gave me an antique locket from Walton's Antique & Estate Jewelry in Franklin, Tennessee. I wear it every day - even for my wedding - and it really is one of my most treasured possessions."
Thank you, Katie, for your continued love and support! We are truly touched by your kind words! Congratulations on a beautifully done article!

We are very excited to share with you our legacy to Franklin; this lavalier style pendant, designed here at Walton's, is modeled after the historic marquis of the Franklin Theatre. The pendant is crafted in 14K yellow gold and can feature a gemstone of your choice dangling below. A portion of each sale will go towards the Downtown Franklin Association. The classic pendant without a gemstone is $350, with a gemstone the price will be dependent on the stone chosen. (The perfect Christmas gift, but must be ordered before December 8th.)
We're excited to announce that we are now offering financing through Wells Fargo! If you've had your eye on a Walton's piece or are looking to make a purchase in the future, our financing program will make it happen!
Did you catch last night's season premier of "Nashville"? In case you missed it, the show featured a Walton's Victorian era lavalier necklace that was a gift to Scarlett from her boyfriend! We are thrilled to once again partner with "Nashville" for their jewelry needs! Stay tuned for more this season!
We are open for normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 to 4:30, until December 15th, when the above Holiday Hours begin.
Join us Thursday, December 12th at 8:00 pm for the 1920's Soiree and Screening After Party at Walton's! Everyone is welcome! (Even if you do not attend the Soiree and Screening at the Franklin Theatre!)
On December 12th, Nashville Public Television is screening the premier of season four of Downton Abbey at the Franklin Theatre! The evening will begin with a 1920's themed soiree featuring wine from Vicki Turner and beer from the local Jackalope Brewing Company. Walton's is sponsoring the soiree and screening, adding Art Deco sparkle to the evening! Walton's will also be hosting the after party at our store across from the Franklin Theatre with champagne, live music, and more Art Deco flare! Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to dress in 1920's attire, which will only add to the glamour of the event! The after party is open to all who want to join in the festivities of the evening, even if you are not able to attend the Soiree and Screening! The after party will begin at 8:00 pm at Walton's Jewelry.

We are so very grateful for the support we have received over the last 40 years! In today's day and age, much of that support comes through social media. As a small thank you, we have decided to hold a Facebook contest! Check out our Facebook post below with the contest details!
... who LOVE Art Deco engagement rings! We may be a little biased since one of our specialties is 1920's diamond engagement rings, but who can resist a gorgeously unique antique stunner?! Scarlett Johansson sure can't! Check out her beautiful vintage engagement ring below and click on the link to People Style Watch for the full details!
For most, the engagement ring buying process can seem quite daunting. Style, size, price, pressure to buy and other factors can run ones' nerves ragged. However, at Walton's we want each and every one of our customers to feel comfortable to ask questions and voice concerns in a pressure free environment. If you and your loved one are happy, we are happy! We also take the time to explain the key factors that are taken into consideration when buying a diamond. Here's the basics of what to look for:
- Color: The amount of color in a diamond on a scale of D to Z, D being the whitest, and Z having the most color.
- Clairty: The absence or presence of inclusions and blemishes. The clarity grade scale ranges from Flawless to I3. The grades are based on the number, size, relief, and position of inclusions seen under 10X magnification.
- Cut: How the diamond is cut based on its proportions, symmetry and polish. These all effect a diamond's brilliance and sparkle.
- Carat Weight: The size of the diamond.
Walton's is a family business and we like for our customers to feel like part of the family. We have a "Wall of Love" with pictures of couples that have gotten engaged with a Walton's ring! Our wall is constantly growing, and for that we are always grateful! So now that you're equipped with some of the basics when purchasing a diamond, the question becomes, will you be joining our Wall of Love? (After she says yes, of course!)
We have been giving our store front some major TLC in the last week! Walton's now has a new black and gold awning and a fresh coat of paint! We still have a few more exciting additions happening in the next month, but in the meantime, check out our before and after photos!
