Family owned and operated in Historic Downtown Franklin, TN since 1974

Our store began over forty years ago by Melba Walton, an entrepreneur who had a sincere passion for antique jewelry.  Today, Walton's Antique and Estate Jewelry has become a staple to the downtown Franklin community. Specializing in pre-1940's antique and estate pieces, Walton's maintains the foundation on which Melba created the store;  a place where all are welcome to share in the love and admiration for pieces of one of a kind jewelry.

Cole and Rachel

Congratulations to Cole and Rachel! We are beyond lucky to work with such fabulous people and are always honored to be a part of their love story! Read their sweet proposal below as told by Rachel:

“We are so thankful that you got to be a part of our engagement.  We couldn’t be happier.  I adore my ring and I’m so happy we got it from you.  Best day ever woohoo!!

Cole proposed by the lake at Centennial Park. It was gorgeous.  As we walked through the park he reminded me of the first time he saw me.  I was going with his younger sister (one of my friends) to an art event at the park and her parents were in town so they joined and they ended up seeing if Cole wanted to tag along.  At the end of the day his mom said if he didn’t ask me out it would be one of his biggest mistakes. A month or so later on our third date we came back to the park and watched a movie on the lawn. Leading up to the proposal, we approached the lake where he pulled me to the side and proposed.  We were immediately joined by our families to celebrate.”

Matt and Kellie

Congratulations to Matt and Kellie! The two met during their time at Mississippi State, and bonded over their passion for hockey; Matt was the captain of Mississippi State's hockey team, and Kellie was the general manager! Matt proposed by setting up a romantic scene in his backyard, complete with handmade mason jar candle holders, flowers, champagne and a sign that read "Will you marry me? Check Yes or No". Kellie, of course, checked yes! We are thrilled for the happy couple, and we know that Melba "Maw-Maw" Walton is, too! (Kellie is one of Melba, our founder's, granddaughters ❤️) We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together! Your photo is officially on the Wall of Love! 😘

Tutt and Clarissa

Congratulations to Tutt and Clarissa! You must take a moment to read through their love story, as told by Clarissa below.  There are so many Franklin connections that it makes our hearts flutter! The last little bit of the story (read to the end!), means so much to us, and is one of the many reasons why we love what we do and the people we meet along the way.

"Tutt and I were formally introduced at the 1st annual Pilgrimage Festival through mutual friends during the very last concert on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. (Willie Nelson).  Needless to say we were both were hooked at first sight!

Tutt and I both grew up in Franklin, TN, attended Battle Ground Academy and, after many separate paths and travels had moved back to the area.

After realizing this was the man of my dreams, Iwas struck one day by a Walton post of my now wedding ring.  I snuck into Walton's on a whim after seeing the ring that I could not get out of my head.  This ring reminded me of my mother's full wedding set, yet had its own very unique and everlasting twist.  I have never been a girl who knew what type of ring I wanted when I was married, but upon first sight of this ring, just like first meeting Tutt, I just knew it was meant to be forever.  I visited Walton's twice on my own (first time would not even touch the ring......but it lured me back and I knew it was the one).  My best friend hinted to Tutt about my secret adventure (without my knowledge) and Tutt went to Walton's twice as well, the first time on his own to look, the second, accompanied by his wonderful mother, to purchase the special ring.

Tutt proposed on the Friday of the Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National on April 8, 2016 on the 4th hole ("Flowering Crabapple"), which is my absolute favorite hole in golf and one of my favorite places in the world.  He patiently waited until all golfers had played the hole for the day and we were the only ones left in that area.  He got down on one knee and I am pretty sure I said Yes before he could finish his perfect speech.

Tutt and I were married on April 1, 2017 in Pawley's Island, South Carolina at the Heritage Club in a gorgeous outdoor setting on the creekside of the island.  We spent a week celebrating with close friends and family.  The wedding was absolute perfection and will be a day we reminisce about for years to come.  Our wedding date was exactly one year to the day that Tutt purchased the ring!

We were lucky enough to return to the Masters gold tournament the week after our wedding and returned to Hole 4, the place of our engagement, this time as husband and wife.

Although photos are not allowed to be taken on the Augusta National golf course, we did get one photo at their visiting site.  Here are a few photos of our wedding ceremony and of course, the exquisite and most special piece of jewelry in my life.....the Walton's ring.

I cannot express how much I adore and love my ring and how truly perfect it is as the symbol of our love and life together.  Tutt and I cannot thank all of the staff at Walton'senough for their help, love and support.  We will definitely be seeing you again in the future!! :)

As a very special side note, another piece of jewelry I wore at my wedding was my "borrowed" item from one of my cousins.  My cousin was given this piece of jewelry (an antique gold clasp bracelet lined with gorgeous emerald shaped amethyst) by my late grandfather, in honor of my grandmother, at her own wedding.  This bracelet was one of my late Grandmother's absolute favorite pieces of jewelry, which she had purchased years ago on a trip to visit us in Franklin......she purchased this precious piece at no other then Walton's.  I cannot begin to describe the emotional feeling of having this bracelet on during my special day.....she was truly right beside me through this piece."

Matthew and Rachel

Congratulations to Matthew and Rachel!

"Matthew and Rachel met eleven years ago in high school and fell in love pretty quickly thereafter. Their engagement story is simple, an early morning in their living room with a quick profession of love from Matthew and a quick 'YES' from Rachel in her pajamas. They celebrated with mimosas and Matthew's amazeballs French Toast, and then whisked away that same morning to a photo session with the lovely Erin McCall, a talented photographer who just happens to be a lifelong friend and honorary little sister of Rachel's."

We adore this couple and their engagement photos! (Rachel's shoes are so fabulous, very Carrie Bradshaw!) We wish them much happiness in their future together as Mr. and Mrs.!

George and Stacey

A perfect New Year's Eve proposal! Congratulations to George and Stacey! 2017 is off to a lovely start!

"Back in October, I could tell Stacey was ready to take the next step. After some research, I visited Walton's to select a ring. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in French linguistics and I didn't want to interfere with her studies, so I decided to propose on New Years Eve. It was tough keeping it a secret! We went to Cheekwood to take in the holiday lights. Despite the rain, it was a very romantic evening. I had my friend, Rebecca Grimmer, follow us to take some candid pictures and I proposed in the art gallery. We went back outside for some more pictures and then went to dinner. I'm very thankful for Walton's and the ring; it is perfect for Stacey and despite being an antique, it's as if it was made specifically for her!"

Philip and Laura Beth

Congratulations to Philip and Laura Beth! Philip Peters and Laura Beth Stubblefield are living out a love story with miraculous twists and turns throughout the last 9 years. Their friendship turned romantic less than 9 months ago and Philip's journey in dating Laura Beth includes a supernatural appearance of an empty ring box that appeared in his luggage after a return flight from Haiti!! Here's the ring he filled the empty box with, a 1920's stunner from Walton's!

We wish you both a life of many happy and loving adventures together as husband and wife!

Guy and Ashlyn

Congratulations to Guy and Ashlyn! In Ashlyn's own words:

"I said yes! Thanks to y'all, my fiancé and I found my dream engagement ring back in early October and a couple weeks back he popped the question while we were walking through the gardens at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville! I couldn't be more thrilled to be marrying my best friend and to have a beautiful ring to show off! Thank you for making my ring and my engagement one of a kind!"

We wish you both much love and happiness in your future together!

Tim and Dolly

Congratulations to Tim and Dolly (and their son, Finn, too!)! Dolly first saw her gorgeous Art Deco diamond ring on our Walton's Facebook Page.  Ever since, she has become not only a wonderful customer but a great friend.  Tim and Finn also purchased their bands from us, Tim's a classic band and Finn's a sterling band that he was presented with from both Tim and Dolly after they had exchanged their vows.  We wish the three of them much happiness together!

Brian and Amy

Congratulations to Brian and Amy! They have been Walton's customers since the beginning, Brian first proposing to Amy with a beautiful Walton's diamond ring, and later pairing it with a classic wedding band (and one for Brian, too!).  The lovely couple stopped by the store to share with us some exciting news.... they are expecting a baby in February! We are thrilled to be a part of their story and cannot wait to meet their little addition!

Lindsay and Jamie

We love happily ever-afters! And we love when our Walton's couples share pictures from their special day with us! We are very fortunate to work with wonderful customers and are honored to be a part of their lives together.  To give a couple a literal representation of the love and unity they share as husband and wife is a truly beautiful thing! Congratulations to the happy couple!
