Congratulations to Matt and Kellie! The two met during their time at Mississippi State, and bonded over their passion for hockey; Matt was the captain of Mississippi State's hockey team, and Kellie was the general manager! Matt proposed by setting up a romantic scene in his backyard, complete with handmade mason jar candle holders, flowers, champagne and a sign that read "Will you marry me? Check Yes or No". Kellie, of course, checked yes! We are thrilled for the happy couple, and we know that Melba "Maw-Maw" Walton is, too! (Kellie is one of Melba, our founder's, granddaughters ❤️) We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together! Your photo is officially on the Wall of Love! 😘
Congratulations to Jason and Melissa! Their September wedding looks straight out of a fairy tale! And they lived happily every after 💕
The history, sentiment and story behind an engagement ring is something that we always treasure. Jordan inherited a gorgeous emerald cut diamond ring from his family, but wanted to make a few slight adjustments to make it perfect for his bride to be, Brittany. We were able to assist Jordan and are thrilled to share that she said yes! Congratulations you two! A beautiful ring for a beautiful couple!
"We spent the day driving around to spots that were special moments for us. Then, closer to sunset, we drove up to this beautiful spot in Land Between the Lakes that we both love. I got down on my knee, proposed, and she said yes! I want to express my gratitude again to the Walton's Team for restoring my great-grandmother's ring. It's absolutely perfect for my fiancée!"
The most perfect elopement! We just adore these two! Congratulations to Matthew and Rachel!
Congratulations to Tutt and Clarissa! You must take a moment to read through their love story, as told by Clarissa below. There are so many Franklin connections that it makes our hearts flutter! The last little bit of the story (read to the end!), means so much to us, and is one of the many reasons why we love what we do and the people we meet along the way.
"Tutt and I were formally introduced at the 1st annual Pilgrimage Festival through mutual friends during the very last concert on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. (Willie Nelson). Needless to say we were both were hooked at first sight!
Tutt and I both grew up in Franklin, TN, attended Battle Ground Academy and, after many separate paths and travels had moved back to the area.
After realizing this was the man of my dreams, Iwas struck one day by a Walton post of my now wedding ring. I snuck into Walton's on a whim after seeing the ring that I could not get out of my head. This ring reminded me of my mother's full wedding set, yet had its own very unique and everlasting twist. I have never been a girl who knew what type of ring I wanted when I was married, but upon first sight of this ring, just like first meeting Tutt, I just knew it was meant to be forever. I visited Walton's twice on my own (first time would not even touch the ring......but it lured me back and I knew it was the one). My best friend hinted to Tutt about my secret adventure (without my knowledge) and Tutt went to Walton's twice as well, the first time on his own to look, the second, accompanied by his wonderful mother, to purchase the special ring.
Tutt proposed on the Friday of the Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National on April 8, 2016 on the 4th hole ("Flowering Crabapple"), which is my absolute favorite hole in golf and one of my favorite places in the world. He patiently waited until all golfers had played the hole for the day and we were the only ones left in that area. He got down on one knee and I am pretty sure I said Yes before he could finish his perfect speech.
Tutt and I were married on April 1, 2017 in Pawley's Island, South Carolina at the Heritage Club in a gorgeous outdoor setting on the creekside of the island. We spent a week celebrating with close friends and family. The wedding was absolute perfection and will be a day we reminisce about for years to come. Our wedding date was exactly one year to the day that Tutt purchased the ring!
We were lucky enough to return to the Masters gold tournament the week after our wedding and returned to Hole 4, the place of our engagement, this time as husband and wife.
Although photos are not allowed to be taken on the Augusta National golf course, we did get one photo at their visiting site. Here are a few photos of our wedding ceremony and of course, the exquisite and most special piece of jewelry in my life.....the Walton's ring.
I cannot express how much I adore and love my ring and how truly perfect it is as the symbol of our love and life together. Tutt and I cannot thank all of the staff at Walton'senough for their help, love and support. We will definitely be seeing you again in the future!! :)
As a very special side note, another piece of jewelry I wore at my wedding was my "borrowed" item from one of my cousins. My cousin was given this piece of jewelry (an antique gold clasp bracelet lined with gorgeous emerald shaped amethyst) by my late grandfather, in honor of my grandmother, at her own wedding. This bracelet was one of my late Grandmother's absolute favorite pieces of jewelry, which she had purchased years ago on a trip to visit us in Franklin......she purchased this precious piece at no other then Walton's. I cannot begin to describe the emotional feeling of having this bracelet on during my special day.....she was truly right beside me through this piece."
Congratulations to Matthew and Rachel!
"Matthew and Rachel met eleven years ago in high school and fell in love pretty quickly thereafter. Their engagement story is simple, an early morning in their living room with a quick profession of love from Matthew and a quick 'YES' from Rachel in her pajamas. They celebrated with mimosas and Matthew's amazeballs French Toast, and then whisked away that same morning to a photo session with the lovely Erin McCall, a talented photographer who just happens to be a lifelong friend and honorary little sister of Rachel's."
We adore this couple and their engagement photos! (Rachel's shoes are so fabulous, very Carrie Bradshaw!) We wish them much happiness in their future together as Mr. and Mrs.!
A perfect New Year's Eve proposal! Congratulations to George and Stacey! 2017 is off to a lovely start!
"Back in October, I could tell Stacey was ready to take the next step. After some research, I visited Walton's to select a ring. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in French linguistics and I didn't want to interfere with her studies, so I decided to propose on New Years Eve. It was tough keeping it a secret! We went to Cheekwood to take in the holiday lights. Despite the rain, it was a very romantic evening. I had my friend, Rebecca Grimmer, follow us to take some candid pictures and I proposed in the art gallery. We went back outside for some more pictures and then went to dinner. I'm very thankful for Walton's and the ring; it is perfect for Stacey and despite being an antique, it's as if it was made specifically for her!"
Congratulations to Brandon and Jocelyn! The pair were married in a gorgeous, intimate ceremony with friends and family in Nenagh, Co, Tipperary Ireland this past May. From her light blue gown, to the incredible scenery, we could not be more in awe of their special day! "Love, life, happiness. May your troubles be few and your blessings be plenty."

Congratulations to Timothy and Aidan! The pair came by searching for the perfect ring and found this gorgeous Edwardian era Old Mine cut diamond cluster! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
Congratulations to Joe and Autumn! Autumn is a stylist at Dion's South Salon on Main Street and just so happens to style a few of us Walton's ladies' hair! We've gotten to know Joe through the engagement ring process and we more than approve!
Nothing makes our hearts flutter more than something beautiful and old (I mean, we are in the antique jewelry business after all!). Our hearts skipped a beat when Courtney sent us pictures of her and Nick's wedding day! The two got married in Courtney's hometown of Sharonville, OH. Her 1920's engagement ring paired perfectly with her wedding dress, the same dress that her mom wore in 1961!! Congratulations to Courtney and Nick!!!
Congratulations to Mitchell and Candice! We first met the couple when they came to Walton's together looking for an engagement ring. They found the perfect one and before we knew it, Mitchell was down on one knee proposing to Candice in our showroom! It was such a magical moment, that has since been followed by a stunning wedding day! We feel so humbled and blessed to have such wonderful people share their love stories with us. We wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness!
Congratulations to Scott and Stefanie! Scott proposed on the south rim of the Grand Canyon with a gorgeously unique 1920's diamond and platinum ring! Congratulations to the happy couple! #weloveourcustomers #waltonscouple
Holy Moly! We are in awe of this breathtaking Norway cliff side proposal! She may have had to work to for the ring (after a long hike!), but we think it was well worth it! Congratulations to Ben and Leanne!
"The hike was an epic ending to a 10 day adventure vacation through multiple scenic spots in Norway. The ledge that we're standing on is referred to as Trolltunga, (the troll's tongue). The hike is 13.7 miles round trip, very strenuous but truly breathtaking. We hiked through mud, streams, snow, steep and slippery rocks, up and down, again and again to reach this spot. Ben had shared his intentions with my mother who was on the trip with us, and I think that gave her the extra bit of motivation and encouragement to make it to the top as well! Since my mom was with us, she was able to take shots for us while we were on the ledge and captured this incredibly special moment. As a humorous side note, when Ben first dropped to his knee he struggled for several seconds to get the ring out of his pocket... It was sort of stuck but the last thing he wanted to do was pull too aggressively and fling the ring right off the mountain! Lol. He did eventually get the ring safely from his pocket and ask me to be his wife to which I of course replied, YES!!!!"
Congratulations to Rhiannon and Justin! We absolutely love hearing our couple's proposal stories, especially when we get to see the sheer excitement and surprise on their faces! Read the sweet proposal story, from Rhiannon, below:
"Justin did an amazing job keeping his big plans a secret for two months! The day of my pharmacy school graduation I was completely in the dark heading to what started out as a celebration for finally finishing school. Even though it was a warm day in May, Justin got dressed in navy khakis saying It’s fine I want to wear this today, shocking to me the man who always wants to have on basketball shorts, but I remained oblivious. The party went on as scheduled and when my dad went to make a toast he surprisingly handed it over to Justin to thank the crowd for celebrating with us. He is not a big talker, so for a split second I thought maybe something big is about to happen. He thanked our friends and family, told me how proud he was (here I thought of maybe), but when he turned and gave an early happy mothers day to all the moms and raised his glass I said to myself whip that weird face off! As he cheered, he calms everyone down and says wait there’s one more thing I need to do. He walked over and reached in that back pocket and before I knew it was down one knee! He kept asking me if I was ok because I was apparently bawling :) I finally calmed down enough to even see that beautiful Walton’s box and the perfect ring!"
We just love seeing our Walton's couples on their wedding day! See a sneak peek of the stunning pictures from photographer Alison McQuain below! You can check out all the detail shots (including Bitsy's beautiful ring!) on her blog: www.alisonmcquain.com Congratulations to Ben and Bitsy!
You may recognize these two love birds from their engagement pictures we posted a while back... Now, it's official! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Smith! The pair looked stunning on their big day! (We are just a little obsessed with that veil!!!) Anna and her family have been long time Walton's friends and supporters. The last photo brought us to tears as it shows the generations of the George Family and their Walton's rings! We are humbled by the love you all have shown us. We are honored to be a part of all of your love stories!
Congratulations to Ashley and Greg! We are drooling over this picture perfect engagement; blue sky, sandy beach, and a gorgeous Old European cut diamond ring! We wish you two much happiness (and many more beaches!) in your future together!
