This fabulously decorated Victorian-era treasure showcases classic motifs and elements from the period, including a rich high-karat yellow gold wash with over 2.50 carats in ultra sparkling Old Mine cut diamonds (approximately 1.31 carat Old Mine cut diamonds, VS1, G/H; approximately 1.20 carat Old Mine cut diamond, VS1, G/H). An exemplary antique keepsake, the locket is further embellished at the center with a lustrous round pearl (8.00 x 8.50 mm) surrounded by smaller Old Mine cut diamonds, including a sparkling frame connecting the two larger bezel-set diamonds (approximately 0.80 carats total weight, VS1/VS2, G/H). The locket holds two original black-and-white photographs inside. A hand-engraved script on the back reads "HS 1879". Chain sold separately.
