Congratulations to Charles and Tori! We had the best time finding the perfect ring for this sweet couple! Tori had seen a ring that we had in our inventory and wanted us to have it made for her with slightly different proportions and it turned out beautifully!
“This past Saturday, October 24th, Charles and I had tickets to tour the Ryman auditorium. The Ryman is by far our favorite music venue in Nashville and we've seen some of our favorite artists there including Drew & Ellie Holcomb, Maggie Rogers, and Tyler Childers. I had originally bought tickets for us to tour the venue last Thanksgiving, but we missed our time slot in the chaos of coordinating family around town.
That morning was like most Saturdays during quarantine. We got up, walked our dog, and had a cup of coffee on the sofa. Thinking back now, I am shocked at how calm Charles was during all of that. When we arrived at the Ryman, we were ushered up the stairs to watch a video and then were allowed to walk through the exhibits on the top level.
As we're walking through, Charles asked me to go downstairs where they were taking photos on the stage. I got instant butterflies in my stomach thinking something might be up, but I was trying my best to keep expectations low. The photographer told us we could take two photos, so we got on stage and stood side by side. After he clicked the first photo, Charles reached in his pocket and got down on one knee. This ring under stage lights is an absolute showstopper!
All I can truly remember is crying, being blinded by the sparkle, and of course saying, YES! Everyone in the Ryman started cheering for us and we posed for a few more photos before heading to the gift shop to pick up our sweet gift.
When we left the Ryman, we walked down to Hampton Social for a glass of champagne and Charles later surprised me by having my best friend from DC join us. We spent the day sipping champagne and celebrating with our closest friends. It was truly one of the best days of my life and I am so grateful to everyone at Walton's who made it possible. We will most certainly be back to pick out our wedding bands. The countdown is on for November 13, 2021!”
