Cole proposed by the lake at Centennial Park. It was gorgeous. As we walked through the park he reminded me of the first time he saw me. I was going with his younger sister (one of my friends) to an art event at the park and her parents were in town so they joined and they ended up seeing if Cole wanted to tag along. At the end of the day, his mom said if he didn’t ask me out it would be one of his biggest mistakes. A month or so later on our third date we came back to the park and watched a movie on the lawn. Leading up to the proposal, we approached the lake where he pulled me to the side and proposed. We were immediately joined by our families to celebrate.”
