Congratulations to Rieves and Tori! Before getting down on bended knee, Rieves came to us with a very special diamond and a design in mind… 

Working with our marketing manager, Mary, he created a true one-of-a-kind custom engagement ring that would become a cherished heirloom for his soon-to-be fiancee Tori. 

The stunning emerald-cut stone was set into a custom bezel setting in 14k yellow gold and framed by two hand-engraved sunflowers (Tori’s favorite flower) on the shoulder. 

While the history of hand engraving jewelry dates back to ancient Egypt, this skill has become rare in modern times thanks to convenient advancements in chemical and machine etching. 

Finding a hand engraver who can create such delicate details isn’t easy, but the personalization it brings to each piece is unmatched.
