Ryan & Presley: Engaged at Harlinsdale Farm

Ryan & Presley: Engaged at Harlinsdale Farm

Ryan and Presley grew up in the same hometown, ran in the same circles, and somehow never quite found each other. It wasn't until they both landed at the University of Tennessee that their paths finally crossed. Their first date stretched on; they talked for hours, and after that day, they were inseparable.

What followed was five years of building a life together, from college to early careers and the sweetness of coming home to Franklin after graduation. "It was easy from the start," Presley says, "and we quickly found ourselves wanting to spend more and more time together." When Ryan proposed, he chose Harlinsdale Farm, one of their favorite places in Franklin. It was exactly right. "It felt so fitting to get engaged somewhere that's such a big part of our lives together," Presley reflects. "Looking back, we can't imagine it any other way."

For the ring, Ryan and Presley came to Walton's knowing they wanted to incorporate a family diamond. As Franklin natives, they had long admired Walton's, but it was the experience itself that surprised them. "What made it so memorable was the genuine care and guidance we received from start to finish," Presley shares. Working with our own Miller, they selected a pear-shaped diamond to complement the family stone, and together the two were set in a Toi et Moi design on a gold band, the pear nestled diagonally alongside the Old European cut heirloom. Ryan took it from there and surprised Presley with the final setting.

"Seeing our vision come to life was such a special experience. I love knowing my ring carries a piece of our family's history while marking the beginning of our own. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded not only of the day we got engaged, but of the love, thought, and intention that went into creating something we'll cherish forever."

That is exactly what we hope for every ring that leaves this showroom. Congratulations, Ryan and Presley!
