Photography by Timothy Ditzler, "What a beautiful man."
You may recognize Jack Walton Sr. as the gentleman who would sit on the bench on Main Street in front of Emmaline and chat with strangers passing by. He would ask them where they were from (and write it in his notebook), tell them a good joke (he had a tried-and-true list of classics), and give them a smushed penny that had a picture of the statue on the square (that he smushed himself). But to the Walton's family, he was always known as Paw Paw. It is with heavy hearts that we share of his passing, but also with celebration of the life of such a beautiful man. It gives us great joy to know that he is now with Melba "Maw Maw" Walton, his wife of 60 years, and founder of Walton's Jewelry. They can now look over the store and our family together, grateful that it continues to thrive and stay true to it's roots; a place where all are welcome to share in the love and admiration for pieces of one of a kind jewelry.
