A Waterfall Proposal: Jordan & Amelia

A Waterfall Proposal: Jordan & Amelia - Walton's Jewelry

Jordan and Amelia's engagement story is shining all the way from Taughannock Falls!

It all started when Jordan gave us a call last year. He’d been eyeing a few Art Deco diamond rings in our collection and was especially intrigued by antique cut diamonds. (We get it, there’s just something about the fire and charm of an Old European cut that modern stones can’t quite match.) He wanted to learn more, ask questions, and see what was possible.

Eventually, he made the trip to our showroom and worked with Mary to bring his vision to life. With Amelia’s mom and a few close friends by his side (consulting and cheering him on behind the scenes), he settled on a custom design: a three-stone engagement ring featuring a stunning Old European cut diamond flanked by two sleek baguette side stones. It was classic, romantic, and completely unique!

When the finished ring made its way to him, Jordan reached out to let us know it had arrived and that he loved it. Not long after, he had a plan in place: a proposal at the breathtaking Taughannock Falls State Park in New York, complete with a hidden photographer to capture the moment.

Amelia said yes, and before we even had time to wonder how it went, we got a text from her mom, Faith, sharing the photos. Cue the collective awwws from our team!

Jordan and Amelia’s engagement is a reminder of what makes custom pieces so special—every stone, every detail, every decision holds meaning. And when it’s all said and done, it becomes a memory, a milestone, a forever thing.
