There were no grand gestures, no elaborate stages set. Just a backyard, a pair of mud boots, and the joyful chaos of dogs running underfoot. Shane got down on one knee when Leah least expected it, and she put it best herself:
"Shane proposed in our backyard, surrounded by our dogs running around, and completely caught me by surprise. I was standing there in my robe and mud boots, which honestly made it even more perfect because it was very authentically us. It was simple, personal, and so special."

That is the whole story, really. Two people who showed up as themselves and found that was more than enough. When the time came to find a ring, Leah had always known she wanted something unique and timeless. Friends pointed them toward Walton's Jewelry, and from there, Korene helped them find an emerald and diamond ring that was every bit as personal as the proposal itself. As Leah shared with us:
"From the moment we walked in, everything about the experience felt like us. The entire process was so personal and special, and the ring is the ring of my dreams."
They celebrated their wedding day in Nashville, and their photos were taken along the storied brick walls of Printer's Alley, a backdrop that felt fitting for a couple with a story worth telling. Congratulations to Shane and Leah!
