We’re excited to share that our very own Julie Walton Garland was recently featured in the May 2025 issue of Your Williamson magazine. The issue celebrates their annual Ladies of Distinction: Iconic Women of Williamson feature—an editorial tribute to women making a meaningful impact in our community. We were thrilled to see Julie's story included in this special issue, which highlights the leadership, legacy, and passion of local women across Williamson County.
In her article, titled “Julie Walton Garland: From Her Grandmother’s Dream to a Community Treasure,” Julie shares her personal journey growing up in the family business, her deep admiration for her grandmother and Walton’s founder, Melba Walton, and what it means to carry on a legacy rooted in tradition and trust.
She reflects on the early days of Walton’s, the evolution of Downtown Franklin, and the importance of staying true to our heritage while always moving forward. Julie’s leadership style—one built on genuine connection, community engagement, and a love of fine antique jewelry—is something we’re all proud of, and we’re grateful to Your Williamson for shining a light on her story.
You can read the full article online here, or find it in print in the May 2025 issue of Your Williamson.

Thank you to Your Williamson for celebrating the women who help shape our community—and for including Julie among them in this issue.
