Victorian 18k yellow gold and diamond bracelet. A remarkable piece of sentimental Victorian jewelry, this circa 1882 bracelet is crafted in richly burnished 18k yellow gold with square-shaped links set with six Old Mine cut diamonds. Along one side of the bracelet, hand engraving reads: “L.A.F B A E M L D A.P.F. 1882.” We believe this to represent the mother’s initials, followed by the initials of her children, and finally the father—a cherished family record in gold and diamonds. While steeped in history, its classic links lend it a versatile style that pairs seamlessly with any modern bracelet stack. A later-added gold-filled safety chain ensures security while wearing.
