Victorian Silver, 14K yellow gold, turquoise, and diamond necklace. Six vivid turquoise cabochons, each encircled by a lush halo of Old Mine cut diamonds, are linked across the front of this spectacular Victorian silver and 14K yellow gold necklace by delicate chains of additional diamonds, the whole composition swaying with a beautiful fluidity against the décolletage. The chain connecting the clusters is enameled in a bright sky blue that perfectly echoes the color of the turquoise — an extraordinary detail that reveals itself on closer inspection and speaks to the level of thought that went into this piece. One hundred and eighteen Old Mine cut diamonds in total, their warm antique brilliance playing beautifully against the cool, saturated blue of the stones. A museum-quality Victorian necklace in exceptional condition — the kind of piece that defines a collection.
