Victorian 15K yellow gold, aquamarine, tourmaline, and pearl necklace. Swags of seed pearls and gold chain loop across this breathtaking Victorian 15K yellow gold necklace, punctuated at every turn by aquamarines, green tourmalines, and pink tourmalines in a riot of color and movement that is deeply characteristic of the era's most ambitious jewelry. Marquise and pear-cut aquamarines float along the pearl swags, while pear-cut green tourmalines and stacked baguette pink tourmalines punctuate the design with rich, contrasting color — the icy blue of the aquamarines playing beautifully against the warm pinks and deep greens. Pear-cut aquamarine drops dangle from the lowest points of each swag, giving the necklace a wonderful sense of movement at the décolletage. A spectacular and extraordinarily well-preserved example of Victorian gemstone jewelry at its most exuberant.
